What are Projects?
Projects represent a website or tech-product (software or application) designed by a user to solve or cater for a particular edge-case. An Example of a project is Cloudsania , a solution that is designed for users to easily configure, deploy and monitor all of their cloud operations across various cloud providers within a central view.
When creating a project for easy setup, cloudsania currently offers two setup mode :
This mode majorly speaks to tech inclined personnel who understands the Basic requirement needed to setup a project, which cuts across specifying the required cloud environment that suits peculiar edge-cases (development, production, demo, and so on). Also they understand the configurations needed in setting up other cloud operations :
DNS Configuration
Setup Konstacks (Configured stacks)
CI/CD Pipeline
Alarms and Incidents
Security Scans
Monitoring and logging
To create a new project in Cloudsania, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Log in to your Cloudsania account.
2️⃣ Navigate the Projects Module:
Click on New Project.
Fill in the required fields:
Project Name: Enter a unique name for the project.
Description: Provide a brief overview of the project’s objectives and scope.
3️⃣ Select how you want to set up your new project
Set up project myself - Set up your project manually based on your organisation's needs. This is recommended if you’ve deployed a project before.
Setup project with an architect - Schedule a call with an architect and they'll set up your project based on your organisation's needs.
4️⃣ Click confirm to create your new project.
5️⃣ Define project settings: After creating a new project, you can define the settings of your project;
Create an environment where your project will be deployed (e.g., development, staging, production).
Set Up Project with an Architect- You can set up your project by scheduling a call with an Architect if you have little knowledge about setting up cloud infrastructure.
