☁️ Setting Up AWS Cloud Connector

✅ Navigate to Cloud Connectors

1️⃣ Log in to your Cloudsania account.

2️⃣ Click on Cloud Connectors from the left navbar.

3️⃣ Click the New Connector button.

✅ Select AWS as your Cloud Provider.

1️⃣ From the list of available cloud providers, select ‘AWS’.

2️⃣ Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed.

✅ Provide Your Connector Details

1️⃣ Enter Your Connector Name

2️⃣ Select your AWS Regions from the list of regions. You’ll get a dropdown to choose your desired AWS Regions.

✅ Choose Your Development Type

Choose the appropriate access privileges (Default Access or Least Privilege Access)

1️⃣ Default Access- Allows Cloudsania to scan your resources and automatically include future capabilities (Highly recommended)

2️⃣ Least Privilege Access- Grants Cloudsania access only to the current permissions needed for the selected konstack.

✅ Configure Your Connector for Default Access

1️⃣ Choose Default Access (Recommended) to allow Cloudsania to scan your resources and automatically include future capabilities.

2️⃣ Click the CloudFormation Launch template link provided in the setup.

3️⃣ This will navigate you to AWS CloudFormation in your AWS account.

✅ Create CloudFormation Stack

In AWS CloudFormation:

1️⃣ The template source and Amazon S3 URL will be preselected

2️⃣ The Amazon S3 URL will be provided in the field.

3️⃣ Simply click ‘Next’ to proceed.

4️⃣ Specify Stack Details by providing the Stack Name, e.g., aws-connector-stack

5️⃣ Click ‘Next’

6️⃣ Configure Stack Options(Optional) such as:

  • Tags

  • IAM Role

  • Stack failure options

7️⃣ Review all Configurations and click ‘Submit’ to create the stack.

8️⃣ Monitor Stack Creation - The stack will begin deploying. Wait until the status changes to CREATE_COMPLETE

9️⃣ Once the stack is successfully created, Click on ‘Outputs.

🔟 Copy the generated keys and store them securely:

📌 Access Key ID

📌 Secret Access Key

📌 AWS Account ID

✅ Return to the Cloudsania AWS Connector setup (Enter Keys)

Return to the Cloudsania AWS Connector setup.

1️⃣ Paste your AWS Account ID, Access Key, and Secret Key in the provided fields

2️⃣ Click Create.

1️⃣ The template source and Amazon S3 URL will be preselected

2️⃣ The Amazon S3 URL will be provided in the field.

3️⃣ Simply click ‘Next’ to proceed.

✅ Verify the Creation of Your AWS Connector

📌 The AWS Connector will now appear in the Cloud Connectors list.

📌 Confirm that the Status is marked as Active.

Your AWS Connector is now successfully configured! 🎉

This allows Cloudsania to integrate seamlessly with your AWS account, enabling streamlined automation and cloud management. 🚀
