Integrating Cloudflare with Cloudsania enables seamless management of DNS records, security settings, and automated configurations. By linking your Cloudflare account, you can manage your Zones and create DNS records.

Prerequisites

Before enabling Cloudflare integration, ensure the following:

  1. You have an active Cloudflare account.

  2. You have generated an API token with the required permissions.

  3. You have retrieved your Cloudflare Account ID.

Enable Cloudflare Integration in Cloudsania

Navigate to the Integrations Page

  1. Log in to Cloudsania and navigate to Integrations from the sidebar.

  2. Locate Clouflare in the list of available integrations.

Enable the Github Integration

  1. Toggle the Clouflare switch to activate the integration.

  2. A confirmation pop-up will appear.

  3. Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed with enabling the Cloudflare integration.

Generate a Cloudflare API Token

To securely connect Cloudsania with Cloudflare, generate an API token.

Prerequisite

Before you begin, find your zone and account IDs.

Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard.

From the Cloudflare dashboard ↗, go to My Profile > API Tokens for user tokens. For Account Tokens, go to Manage Account > API Tokens.

Click Create Token and select Custom Token.

Set the Token Name (e.g., "Cloudsania API Token").

Add the following permissions:

  1. Zone → Zone Settings → Edit

  2. Zone → Zone Settings → Read

  3. Zone → Zone → Read

  4. Zone → DNS → Read

  5. Zone → Zone → Edit

  6. Zone → DNS → Edit

Under Zone Resources, select Include All Zones.

(Optional) Restrict how the token is used in the Client IP Address Filtering and TTL (time to live) fields.

Select Continue to summary.

Review the token summary. Select Edit token to make adjustments. You can also edit a token after creation.

Select Create Token to generate the token's secret.

Copy the secret to a secure place.

Warning

The token secret is only shown once. Do not store the secret in plaintext where others can access it. Anyone with this token can perform the authorized actions against the resources that the token has access to.

Navigate to Integrations > Cloudflare > Setup Cloudflare Integration

Enter your Cloudflare Account ID

Paste the copied Cloudflare API Key

Click 'Verify' to authenticate the connection

You’ll receive a success message upon successful integration
